Welcome to the 2014 S-CAP AIDS
Walk/Run In The Garden!
All volunteer shifts are 7 am - 1 pm. At 7 am we will be setting up, assigning work stations, and having coffee! After the run and walk are finished, we will be taking down the tents, packing up tables, and picking up trash. There will be jobs available for all adult levels of fitness and ability. We want to leave the Garden as clean and beautiful and we will find it!
Some volunteers may be released early, if there are enough volunteers for all the slots. Volunteers will get a tee shirt. All volunteers must sign a waiver and release to participate. We will email you the form the week before the event.
Join hundreds of others in making a difference in the fight against AIDS in southern Colorado.
This highly anticipated annual event brings people together in the scenic Garden of the Gods Park to raise much needed funds that support services for individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS, as well as support important outreach, education, and prevention programs. The walk and run are both 5K, all within beautiful Garden of the Gods Park.
The event also provides a special day to remember those we have lost to the disease and to celebrate the ongoing advancements in care and prevention throughout southern Colorado.
